There is a book that has about many styles of brick
barbecue pit designs. You can find this book at the
library. Klose BBQ Pits also makes pits that set
down on a pattern of brick that you can stone-face
or tile-set. Much cheaper than making parts." Barbecue
Building Book" by Sunset magazine. ISBN O-376-O1O42-8
The older Sunset Barbecue Books have plans for many
different types of grills and Qs. The 195O/51 "Sunset
Barbecue Book" is solely on making BBQs. It has 17
detailed plans and 275 illustrations.--

If setting or pouring your own concrete or sealers for
your brick pit, Forget the quick-crete and get Portland,
sand and fire clay from your local building supply house.
They will give you the proper amounts of each to use. The
mixture will be very sticky to use but it will not
explode when the pit is fired up. That is the same
ingredients that is used in fireplaces. Hope this helps.
any computerized bookstore can tell you also.
