Eldest male chile happens to be in the wholesale food bizness in Little Rock so I invested in an expunsive long distance phone call just to get you the true poop on this deal. He say this: Whole Hog Cafe...on Cantrell. Best in town..old comp cook who is supposedly turning out some good chow. Far as the boy knows the fella is cooking with wood in a real pit of some type. Sims...next best in town. N. Little Rock..Gyer Springs Rd...33rd Street..John Barrow. They all over town in other words. He thinks the one on Gyer aint as good as the rest. McClards in Hot Springs..aint in LR but aint far. Is real famous. Seats 40 and goes through a hundred cases of ribs a week. That Sick Willys favorite I think. Anyway the boy say he ate there a time or two but didnt think it was much to brag on. Hope this helps bigwheel
